Free Angela & All Political Prisoners

I was hoping this would be like The Stuart Hall Project for Angela Davis - a competently arty documentary that manages to be amazing/essential because of the subject's own charisma and power. Instead, it's a very straightforward doc that just focuses on her arrest. There's something so off about ending the film with such nice, convenient closure since it clashes with Davis' own call for us to not become complacent and instead, constantly seek justice. The result de-radicalizes a true radical.
