Freedom Radio (1941) is not exactly a war-essential, but it gives an interesting perspective of counter-media while it delivers it's anti-Nazi propaganda. Elegant performance per usual by Clive Brook, this time as a respected German finding faults with the Nazi regime broadcasting it in hopes of enlightening his fellow German citizens. The Nazi's show their nastiness and the film delivers hope of making people open their eyes. Maybe I'm wrong, perhaps it is war-essential in it's unique way.
