This movie is totally not worth watching. The free running is decent, but the acting is terrible, the story predictable, the prety girls not very prety and the exploding heads not visible (camera always misses the shot). The final exploding boat looks so fake, it's almost funny.

Terrible film and a terrible portrayal of parkour. The film has zero entertainment value with no plot and no attempt at acting, so the running and stunts are the only things that could save it. Sadly, 3/4 of this is filmed using the shakiest of shakycams, so that half the time the images onscreen are nothing but a vague blur and any sense of the agility and grace of parkour is completely lost.

What you get with Freerunner is a Battle Royale spoof with a horrible story, terrible acting, and dialogue that almost made me lose faith in film making. Literally the only decent aspects of the movie were the freerunning scenes, which by the way aren't even filmed well. The camera is shaking half the time, and during pretty much every parkour scene the camera cuts between 3 and 4 times. So pretty much the film's only saving grace is ruined by lousy cinematography. Oh, and too many sociopaths.

This film is sloppy, lazy, badly made, terribly acted, boring, irritating and shit. Its demographic is teenagers but the plot is insulting. Kids films routinely contrive whatever is needed to move the story forward however illogical under the thinking "They're kids - they won't notice." They do notice. And teenagers notice. And I noticed. And this film is awful. Danny Dyer, more like........ Danny Dire! (Original joke copyright 2012 all rights reserved)
