The direction of this is actually very well done. Sadly the sound effects were awful. The short is only three minutes long but I almost turned it off because of those chirping birds. I think they were overdone. The bad voice-over really messed this movie up too. It just didn't fit very well. I did like how the student ran through the forest and Lucas focused on his feet and other angles really well. I really didn't care that Randal Kleiser died... so the short kind of failed.

I don't know how assignment briefs in film schools work so can only presume he largely chose to make this sickening piece of propaganda himself. Seems that at 22 he still had the moral understanding of a 12 year old.
