Sure it's cheesy (but she's lactose intollerant). I really did enjoy this film. The story revolves around a cat and mouse between Reno and Kline iand a love triangle between Ryan, Hutton, and Anbeh. Kline's rogueish vintner is woderfully done. And I love Meg Ryan.

Yet another 90s romantic comedy. Ryan is as Ryan does in rom-com mode and Kline is suitably fiendish but with enough compassion to redeem his character.

A bit bland at times but there is charm to this movie and Ryan and Kline work well together.

I went into this for Ryan and I was almost instantly disappointed. She's not bad but she's going through the motions and the character she's given doesn't help. Luckily Kline singlehandedly makes this worth watching with a bit a wit and a bit of charm and great delivery. The character is just as thin as Ryan's, but he makes it work in a way she struggles to do. I enjoyed myself well enough with this silly romantic comedy, but I was kind of hoping for more. Also hoping for more Paris.

RomCom alert! Meg Ryan at her annoyingly cutesyest. Still OK for a rainy day though, I suppose.

Ryan is ridiculously charming in this film. I was surprised she never turned annoying. The whole thing is silly and at times funny but it all amounts to nothing.

Meg Ryan still trying to play that early-20s naive chick. She tries really hard, but it just doesn't work this time. Kevin Kline is great, as always.

Predictable as can be, but the performances are still very enjoyable. Both the leads are putting in pretty complex performances for a mere romantic comedy, and Timothy Hutton apparently has no bones about playing slime. It's laugh-out-loud funny sometimes, has some beautiful locations, and it made me long for good European food.

What I don't like in Meg Ryan, I love in Kevin Cline. He can lift a lot in films when he's good, and I think he avoids cliche'ing himself away in this one. Tone in the film is a bit sick, as is its predictability, but still it had some charm and humor.

A bit of Kevin Klein's charm, a bit of Meg Ryan, a bit of French and you get a decent although limited film.
