Fresh

I quite enjoyed this, at least up to the third act. Sebastian Stan was great and Edgar-Jones performed well too. I like the directing overall and the music selection was top-notch. But it did fall apart towards the end with the typical dumb horror protagonists.

it is meant to be mildly creepy and I guess it achieves that. The meat chewing ASMR adds a layer to it I guess to make sure people don't want to try the recipes at home. The guy noping out was a highlight of this.

Starts of real strong but the end is a bit of a mess. Still all in all a good film and gives a fresh (no pun intended) spin to a movie seen many times before.

This captivated me throughout. It’s a little silly at times, but a good experience overall. I thought it was really interesting when the opening credits finally rolled 30 minutes in.

“Fresh” is a unique and thrilling film that expertly blends elements of rom-com, horror, and black comedy. While it has its flaws, the outstanding performances by Edgar-Jones and Stan and the film’s significant commentary on women’s dating experiences make it a must-watch.
