A kind of cleaned up version of Foxy Brown, Pam does more shooting with her camera than her gun, and gets a ton of stylish costume changes.

Pam Grier running away from threats instead of kicking ass, so this isn't one of her more exciting works. The poster with her holding a gun is misleading. The background and themes of this movie are more interesting than the plot itself. I forget which other blaxploitation film it was, but it also had an extended storytelling sequence that just feels like filler. Fav scene: rooftop chase.

This film has a good cast and for the most part an interesting script. There are some exciting scenes and some interesting characters. Overall I would recommend this film.

Worth watching for Pam Grier and the outfits.

Unusually cheery and upbeat blaxploitation film with one of the greatest casts in the history of the genre.

All style and no substance, and I'm not nuts about the style

Entertaining, lighter blaxploitation starring Pam Grier and Yaphet Kotto. The whole cast is a big who is who of blaxploitation.

My first blaxploitation movie…oh boi. It’s interesting to see, I can tell why it was such a popular genre at the time: powerful and sexually liberated black woman investigating a murderous conspiracy? With an epic showdown at the end? (there is a guy firing a machine gun from a helicopter, come on). Kinda cool, but definitely not a good movie

Great cast. Not as good as some of Grier’s other works but politically uplifting
