A conglomeration of set pieces that often beg the question, "Why am I watching this again?" It is something to witness and I'm glad I watched it but I won't be visiting this again for about as long as I can keep away from heroin.

As a film, it's a total mess. As a bizarre art piece to project onto the wall of an orgy, it does the trick. Barry is basically Dougie from Twin Peaks: the return, an empty vessel being guided from place to place and changing the lives of unaware people. Great soundtrack

"Fried Barry" is a dumb idea, and a bad excuse for a script made of a bunch of fragmented, depraved ideas. The main character himself is a dickwad with no redeeming qualities and the alien that steals his body is only marginally better. I find it hard to justify to myself how it was even worth finishing this piece of crap.

This is the kind of movie I look for all the time. I was so incredibly happy with everything in this movie. The main actor has to be one of the most perfect casting choices in cinema history. Hes otherworldly, i think he may actually be from outerspace. What a ride. I highly recommend watching this movie

It's an entertaining mish-mash of psychedelic scenes loosely related to one another through the main character. Don't expect a conventional movie and you won't be disappointed. Also, apparently in South Africa everybody wants to fuck you, no matter how ugly or weird you are.

What a weird random walk through total depravity. This is what Enter the Void wishes it was. Bangin' soundtrack and a lead whose deadfaced awkwardness is somehow both terrifying and endearing keeps this unfocused meander surprisingly entrancing. Still, it does feel a tad too long.

A seedy, darkly funny drug bender/bodysnatcher exploitation movie. If that summary sounds appealing to you, you'll probably have a good time.

The resemblance to Bad Boy Bubby is unmistakable. Some of it looks like a tamer remake with more visual effects. There's no real explanation why everyone wants to either fuck, give free drugs to, or brutalize the covert alien protagonist, but it's intended to be crazy so what the hell. Gary Green is part scary and part hilarious. Quite fun.

Some parts go on too long and the players can't hold up the material. There are a few too many drug and sex scenes. There's an extended chainsaw fight that doesn't work. But there's also plenty of captivating and wryly humorous stuff in the mix. It's worth at least one watch.
