Fright House

Al Lewis chews the scenery hilariously as a sleazy police captain. There are some good unintentional laughs but this all makes little sense on a scene-to-scene basis and has too many boring stretches for an hour-long movie.

Oh wow. This was a pretty horrible film, and it felt "wrong" watching it from a very good quality Vinegar Syndrome DVD. The actors are mostly really bad, especially Paul Borghese who is playing the detective - he sure likes to show off his chest hair. There are some so-bad-thats-it-good scenes, for example the fake suicide at campus, and scenes between the detective and his brother or fiance. But the other stuff will suck the life out of you and makes 60 mins feel really long.
