This movie was horrible. The biggest slap in the face is that it claims to be part of the great Fright Night series. The writing was obviously the worst part of the film, some of the lines almost put me in a coma they were so bad. The acting of ALL the main characters except for Jaime Murray were TERRIBLE. Especially the main character's horror obsessed friend. I caught a big blooper toward the end (which is sad because that was the best scene) and I just generally despise everyone involved.

Cute movie. Typical American vampire movie. Nothing re-inventive. Just a good Friday night in movie.

This film is irredeemable. It takes itself too seriously, and is too well produced to be enjoyed as B-movie silliness. It is devoid of fun and talent, and seems to drag on and on. Finally, Fright Night 2 is essentially a remake of its 2011 predecessor, that seems to exists solely to make the first film look better.

eng; [fright night 2 - new blood]; eine gruppe von gastschülern besucht die vorlesung einer hübschen professorin - diese entpuppt sich aber langsam als vampir mit blutdurst.; (kein echter horror, eher selbstironische komödie mit viel blut);

Watchable although I found it a little too long but not exactly boring. 1h30 would have been better.

Not quite as worthless as the first one. Pretty worthless though.

Not a sequel to the remake but another remake of the original, only with a new setting. Disastrous!

This...isn't...a sequel. It's also not that great of a film overall. What it does do, however, is use practical effects, which the original series was very much known for, and the 2011 film didn't. So, that was awesome to see. The film also approached vampires from a slightly original angle, and some of its uses of lighting and color were decent...but it FEELS cheap, and most people won't give it the light of day, and I get that.
