Fairly decent horror flick that doesn't stumble too much. Follows standard procedure for the genre in most cases. This includes a few bad choices by characters. Still the atmosphere around the semi-abandoned hospital is good and action/gore is steady.

too little happens for waaaay too long, in bleak, depressing fashion. and when the killing finally started it felt uninspired and like a chore. depressing and a huge disappointment.

Similar to the original, not much happens during the first half, unless now it isn't an hour of bad jokes, but 40 minutes of so-called suspense which not only parasitize the previous part, but also don't achieve anything from that. Exactly as in the original, the plot and characters stay in their infancy all the way through. And the action is still boring. Need to mention that production is noticeably better now; some cool cinematography is involved, too. In summary, it is a perfect sequel.
