Frolics on Ice

Irene Dare gets her own movie.... sort of. Everything's on Ice (1939) uses 8 year old ice skating sensation as the attraction using her showcase numbers almost as intermissions, while building a unattached romantic and comic plot with better known actors as the real movie. Fun to watch her skate. Almost like a Sonja Henie and Shirley Temple combined. But there is not enough Dare! Instead it's Roscoe Karns who steal the picture as the scheming uncle, with Edgar Kennedy popping in as the good guy.
