Front Page Woman

A playful newspaper affair where George Brent was having the time of his life 1-up-ing Bette Davis so she'd surrender and marry him. The sabotaging was almost cruel considering this was a romance comedy! And few men has had the honor of humiliating Davis this way. Well, justice comes, but Brent sure was leading most of the film in the race for the big story. This wasn't of the best written scripts, but they had a good scenario and solid comic help from Roscoe Karns who was a valuable asset here.
