I guess I can kind of sort of see why this is held in high esteem. Shave at least an hour off the 3 hour running time (preferably including several long scenes in which one character converses with a cut piece of fingernail...), and then it would be really quite good.

if you like moody, hopeless procedurals with a crushing humanist underbelly, treat yourself to this one. almost as good as HIGH AND LOW.
