Funny Lady

Fine sequel features a far more relaxed, comfortable and confident performance from Streisand, a nice light comic one from Caan, and some amusing bits from McDowall, at least in the early stages (one suspects there may be extensive footage left on the cutting room floor). It appears director Ross was more willing to indulge his leading lady than Wyler in the original, and it shows a little too often, but overall it makes for a smoother, more enjoyable (and at times very funny) ride.

Boring Lady.

Not quite good as the first one but still enjoyable. It's always a pleasure to watch Barbra Streisand. James Caan is just annoying btw.

Unfortunately not one of Streisand's best musicals. However far from her fault. Some brilliant acting and real moments of pathos but just never came to life for me.

One of the 60s-and-70s musicals that pretty much killed the musical. Even with James Caan in it, this movie sucks ass
