Funuke domo, kanashimi no ai wo misero

At times funny, even more often shocking - a twisted and weird story of an uncommon familly. Interesting to watch, but doesn't leave a lasting impression.

Interesting film, for sure, but largely unsuccessful. It's neither truly funny or that dramatic. It just sort of is.

Not quite as good as some other Japanese films about messed up families (it's a whole genre), but I still had a good time.
