The Jungle Jim films are heavily based on patch work with a lot of walking scenes and general stock footage to fill time. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I felt Fury of the Congo (1951) ended up somewhere in the middle. Managed to provide some jungle adventure thrills, but at times it was also a drag to watch. But with the killer female tribe, such veterans as George Eldredge and Lyle Talbot stacked on the bad, and other little things, because it's the little things that save this one.
