This is getting embarrassing for all involved. How can you get this low with Futurama?

Has a few genuinely hilarious moments but the majority of gags are just mediocre and nowhere near as funny as the Futurama television show. I think Futurama simply works far better as a show than a feature film, though I did find Bender's Game enjoyable enough. See it if you're a fan of the show, it'll be worth a watch.

Here's the thing: They clearly went overboard with the fan service stuff. This is blatantly Futurama written in a post-Futurama world. They crammed in pretty much every damn character that ever appeared on the show, including some remarkably obscure ones. They made tons of references to old scenes and made running gags of many jokes that were originally one-offs. And yet, I'm quite satisfied. All I really wanted was more of the same from a show I enjoyed, and that's what I got.

The last of the film series is a now predictably staggered affair, with slow moments intersperced with the odd section of humour reminissent of the excellent TV series. Although the film does indeed have it's moments, it feels more like a collection of short episodes than any of the other Futrama films has done so far, holding it back further than expected. The general feel is slightly offputting, one which suggests the general writing excitement and input is waning. Maybe the series stops here.

Hippie review: 'Into the Wild Green Yonder' is like... the universe, dude.. there are many small shiny moments of light out there... but also a lot of darkness in between.

For the record, I think Futurama is the greatest comedy program ever; infinitely rewatchable and always hilarious every time. That may be why I am giving this as high a score as I am.

Better than the other Futurama features, being one level more consistent in terms of pacing and humour, but the fragmentation of the film for TV is still visible.

Thoroughly enjoyable, but Futurama for some reason doesn't work as well if it's not in a 20 minute episode format.

I can understand some of the criticism for this, but I thought this was a good send-off for the show while still keeping a door open for future stories.

It's futurama, I rewatch the entire series at least 5 times a year. That doesn't include the times I just let it run in the background or watch random episodes.

I am a fan of the TV show, but the movies have all been pretty bad. This is the best of them.

Actually one of the better Futurama with several laugh out loud moments. Probably more lol moments with this than the rest of the movies put together. The story was much better than the other ones as well, even though this could have been better. I would have liked to have seen the series end on a much grander scale than the preachy type of story. Still a good watch and recommended.

It was a good potential end for the series if it didn't get picked up, but it's still the weakest of the movies.

Mediocre, which should get you a 50, but this is Futurama. The bar is higher for them, and they muff the punt hardcore.

Though the eco-feminist jokes are driven horrifically into the ground even by the movie's midpoint, I enjoyed much of the rest of the film. I liked that it split allegiances of our heroes and pitted them against each other and I was engaged with the Dark Ones mystery. Zapp Brannigan was hilarious, and the cliffhanger/ambiguous ending made me want to know what happened next.

Because the main story was pretty lackluster I never really could get into the crazy antics that went along with it. Some of the jokes were really stretched out or felt like a repeat of older ones, and the whole thing just ends for no good reason. "Oh I guess we go into this wormhole now welp g'bye!". Nice to see every futurama character ever make an appearance in that massive crowd scene, though.

Not "Futurama's" finest moment, but more than entertaining enough if a little inconsistant at times.

Nothing to say, really... none of these movies have been anything special, none of them have outright sucked ass either. They're all just... okay. The first one was the best, I don't like how all the others have tried to take on massively epic tales. I prefer it when the stories are on a smaller scale. So, anyway, whatever... I was in a bummer mood when I started watching, and the movie didn't really lift my spirits but I guess there were a few good moments.

A decent end to the 4 films, let down by the cringe-worthy feminist jokes that were stale before they started. Overall, the films were an experiment that sort-of worked. But really Futurama works best in its original short format.

The previous Futurama movies were much better and the tv show is awesome. Anyway, Im givin so high score coz Fry still loves Leela and Bender is same jerk as ever. /Wheres Nibbles this time?!/

Now this is more like a Futurama episode: obscure nerd humor hiding in the background, mind-bending visuals, and hilarious non-sequiturs. It was nice to see some "new" poker cliches (like 27o) being skewered for a change. The plot is kinda lazy and the feminist shit is completely pile-driven into the ground, but that's ok. This is the only one of the four movies I could see myself purposely watching again.

Most of this film was pretty enjoyable, but the story kind of fell flat at the end. I felt like the final sequence was a total copout.

Another only occasionally funny, but at all times random Futurama movie. I can't see why some saw this as better or worse than the previous ones. They are all disappointingly mediocre.

Some good jokes leading up to an emotional and fairly powerful conclusion, but overall this is one of Futurama's weaker segments. Most if not all of it's magnitude comes from the fact that it was (at the time) the final installment. Not that it isn't okay, but thankfully the series didn't end here.

The last chapter in the stray feature-length mishmash. This is exactly as mixed a pleasure as the previous ones: good jokes and funny moments are scattered through a heavy-handed plot. Overall the 4 movies illustrates that Futurama works best in its native 25 minute format. Luckily the powers that be seems to have learnt from this, because the following "real" season (made possible because of these movies' succes) is back to the high quality of the pre-cancellation seasons. Huzzah!
