Weird experiencing Tom Neal in a lighthearted musical like this. He was usually the nasty type in gritty crime movies, much of it fitting his real life persona. Here it's a gender war in the army where he keeps getting into altercations with Jean Porter & Iris Adrian, mostly of the romantic and jealous kind. Porter, especially, make this watchable with her cute routine.
