Ga'agua

An idiosyncratic, possibly autistic protagonist makes an already interesting premise even quirkier, and comically weird in some scenes. Shai Avivi's limitations as a drama actor show, but almost feel like an asset. It's not a realistic film, but it does recall the eccentric charm of Gabison's classic "Lovesick on Nana Street", or kind of like a sad Hal Hartley.
