Gabe doesn't want to move to the UK because he doesn't want to go into quarantine, but if he had done any research - and we know that he can because he operates a remote control, and orders pizzas online - he would have learned that there is no quarantine period if you meet several easy to meet criteria. Therefore, there is no good reason for him to set up Eric and Sarah. Therefore, this film is pointless.
