Galapagos - Trauminsel im Pazifik
As if through the eyes of Charles Darwin, who knew the islands in 1835 and described them as the »laboratory of tribal history«, Heinz Sielmann lets us experience them in the multi-award-winning film to this day. During the expedition in 1960/61, unforgettable pictures of an animal world and a landscape were created that are unique and of tremendous beauty. Sielmann himself described the trip there as "every biologist's dream." (filmmuseum-potsdam.de)
