Wayne Morris & Jane Wyman make it entertaining, but Gambling on the High Seas (1940) was hardly thrilling at all. Serves simply as a quick filler without putting too much effort into the production of things. At least it gave the two leads and some of it's supporting characters room to showcase what they were good for, even if most of the support didn't exactly help the picture. There was something oddly off about the casting of this one.
