bit of a meandering mish-mash of random stuff, like watching 3 documentaries at the same time. not sure what the title had much to do with the film?

If you're a moron who drools over (and hatefully envies) the riches and privileges of these people, then maybe the revelation that they aren't so happy and money introduces new problems will be surprising to you. For me, it's simply more fun and more revealing to watch these people indulge and what effect it has on their personality (usually negative). A huge problem here is the director's narcissistic self-insertion, which adds nothing new or even personal to this already reiterative message.

Well done and fairly depression documentary and commentary on our materialistic and wealth obsessed culture.

The message isn't new. The story-telling felt a bit forced and slow. Interestingly enough, everyone interviewed seemed to agree with the message and understand it, yet only two people truly appeared to have changed their ways and perspectives. I didn't get the impression the author had a change of heart either.
