Get Mean

Seen this described as a possible influence on Sam Raimi for Army of Darkness. A sarcastic reluctant hero going through a melange of otherworldly tasks and adventures, sounds like it could be. Despite the bizarre plot points, this becomes a little too much of a slog to get through in spite of being minorly fascinating. A lot of the dialogue is read as if it is a lot snappier than it actually is. Several times after a quip we would look at each other dumbfounded. It's weird, so, I guess see it.
