Deputy Langley has problems. One minute he's out in the desert looking for a missing girl, the next he's being propositioned by a corpse to save a town from evil after his car combusts in a mysterious fashion. He soon finds himself in a strange and illusory town, where the inhabitants appear and disappear. It becomes apparent to Langley that he must destroy an undead psycho called Devlin if he's to let this Western ghost town rest in peace and save the girl. (Graham Rae)

One of those classic VHS covers I always remembered since childhood. The movie itself isn't all that bad actually, and like Stain said, its one of very few horror/westerns.

Not bad. One of the few productions from Empire Pictures that doesn't suck. Its other main distinction is that it's one of the few horror/Westerns

As a fan of Westerns & Horror, it’s a real pity that these genres have not been mixed with greater success. This small budget film gets many things right; cinematography and sets are fine, acting serviceable and it has a distinctive mood. Script is more about providing background instead of telling a proper story, and the film could have used a a better soundtrack. End comes quite suddenly as if the money and/or ideas ran out. I’m glad I saw it, but it just feels like a missed opportunity.
