Doesn't have the zing of the first series. The music, graphics, action and plots are worse but still good.

The 2nd GIG was easily the better of the two seasons, and the movie is no exception.

This Review is of the TV series, of which I recommend over the movie.An improvement, just because of the fact that Motoko and company benefit from a certain degree of back story throughout the series. I still don't know if I ultimately like the "villains" as much as the Laughing Man, though. Still, the lack of stand alone in favor of a more cohesive plot makes this the better series, no doubt.
