Ghosts

Suffers greatly in comparison to "Thriller" - there's even less of a plot, the songs aren't as good, and there's a LOT of unnecessary dancing. Even MJ's undeniable brilliance as a performer can't make this more than a one-time watch.

Michael Jackson was a one of a kind performer. Personal demons & shortcomings aside, his talent was as undeniable as his imagination. Both are showcased here. While the paper-thin plot feels pretty silly & the dance numbers far too drawn out- especially when two of the songs just aren't all that good- "Ghosts" itself is a banger and there's definitely some fun stuff throughout. It's short enough to not overstay its welcome, & there's a nice B movie charm to it. Worth a watch.
