Reminds me of a certain Black Mirror episode that can't be named, since it would ruin the twist of this film. A bit ridiculous in premise, but worth going along for the ride.

The mystery is at once extremely convoluted and too obvious. Everything is over-explained. Acting and direction are pedestrian. Throw in some unearned jump scares and many, many boring chase scenes and you've got yourself a rare '0'-earner.

It has its flaws but overall well executed. I enjoyed it.

Once the answers start coming, the explanations are so silly that it's hard to take the plot serious.

Bordering on the Park Chan-wook pastiche (including the cascade of ridiculous twists in the last half-hour), but effective and well-shot all the same. The first half in particular has some great almost-Hitchcockian moments.

Real dumb, and a lot of melodramatic music. Just twists with no point nor real theme.

This was not what I expected. Incredible film.

The mystery and twists are extremely messy (as Jerky’s review put it, very similar to a certain Black Mirror episode), but the backstory presented in the last act mostly makes up for it. Very well shot, although the score varies from spot on to annoyingly over the top.

I think we should invent a new subgenre; Korean Thriller. I have seen a lot and they are cleverly designed and you end in the opposite landmark you expected to be at the first place.

Man what a gut-punch! It gives you a standard setup that promises secrets revealed and gives you a good sense of paranoia, but not until the brother comes back do things really get tense and brutal. The story unfolds in very creative ways, the editing allows for some truly memorable moments of suspense, and the finale is a fittingly bleak, sad one that highlights the cruelty fate can have on people given the circumstances.

Korean-style incoherent mix of jumpscare, thriller and drama. I was waiting comedy to appear but fortunately it did not.
