Gift of Gab

Pretty poor comedy with Edmund Lowe as Phillip "Gift of Gab" Gabney, a radio talker who is just too full of himself. But the movie is not so much about him then all the guest segments. As the movie is set up as a radio broadcast with vocal artists like Ruth Etting, Ethel Waters and various bands giving a short performance. Also comic sketches featuring brief cameo appearances like Chester Morris, Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi. It's no doubt that it's these performances that carry this rubbish.
