Easily the worst movie in the series, a formulaic Hollywood mad scientist haunted house comedy that bears virtually no resemblance to the show. Clearly the studio had given up, and I'm glad they didn't make any more. Although radio show is MUCH better, I mostly enjoyed this movie series -- just wish it ended on a higher note.

An absolutely terrible ghost plot, but this final Gildersleeve movie was saved by Marion Martin as a hot ghost and Nick Stewart all scared stiff! That (nearly) drinking scene was excellent!
