Sometimes I find myself wondering if it could be an art movie, but my brain melted years ago so best pay no attention. I liked how the aliens arrive on a bronze age earth or similar even though it's set in a post-apocalyptic future (a la Planet of the Apes), so we go from hi-tech spacecraft to everyone wearing tunics. SFX scenes reportedly stolen from Starcrash, the original masterpiece which spawned a whole slew of imitators trying to cash in on its enormous success (as the story goes).

One of the (best)worst post-Star Wars cash-in movies. Everything about this is terrible, but in an endearing way. The long shot-from-below fly-bys of terrible model spaceships. The disco soundtrack. And being made in early-80s Italy there are of couse boobs and men with an excess of body hair discovering the wonder of free love.

Is this just a very elaborate soft-core porn film, or a sci-fi film with some soft-core porn? I'm not really sure. Suffice to say there is some eroticism and some killing of people with only the mind. Not a bad combination but the story is so silly and the sfx so primitive that it ruins both. It's a mostly fun, cheesy sci-fi film with some tits for good measure
