So it is reminicent of 30 rock, but obviously not as good. That said, Sara Bareilles can obviously sing, and surprisingly Renee Goldsberry can as well - so maybe they should do it with better songs. There are plenty of excellent singers in the world who never succeed so it's not off brand. Also, I thought it'd be funnier. Maybe it's dumb funny rather than clever. The characters are dumb cartoons that you don't care about, so that's a problem. It's watchable if you're doing something else.

Every. Single. Character. is played like a cartoon. Couldn't wait for the first episode to end.
