The premise is really creepy and the characters definitely back that up. Not much in the way of gore. Or acting.

A questionably lauded cult horror flick that plays exactly as amateurish as you would think. It has a single merit, which is the concept, but that was handled horribly. I probably could have enjoyed it only a little more if I didn't want to repeatedly punch every single character in the face.

Deliciously black horror-comedy that spins a very British take on the family of serial killers. The way our protagonist, Friend Number Two, manipulates and plays the family members against each other is quite original (for this genre at least). Despite a lack of sex or gore it's still a wonderfully insane and creepy movie.

A coquettish teenaged girl uses her charms to lure men to her home, where her demented family imprison and torture them. The balance is upset when one potential "new friend" starts playing the family members against each other. Parts of this are quite twisted, but the guy was being held prisoner by two old women and two children...I kept wondering why he didn't just pick up an axe and fuck up their shit.

Twisted horror movies are the best horror movies. More horror flicks should be this insane. The acting could have been better.

Wow, that was weird. Entertaining when watched with friends but it's still pretty damn bad. Way too discontinuous and badly acted, and sometimes just plain silly and impossible to take seriously. Maybe that's not the point but it's off-putting regardless. Guess that means that clicking a title on Netflix instant just because it has an interesting image doesn't always turn out good.

Different, off-kilter, and slightly art-house with a touch of experimental.
