Kay Francis continues her troubled romances even after the code was enforced. Having bastards and complicating things for herself. This movie is nothing special in Kay's catalog, but it's another fine example of her women's pictures. Pleasant polished production, but not particularly remarkable. Who helps tremendously is Roland Young livening things up. The scene where he meets his romantic interest was the best sequence in the film. That brought the smile!
