Two respected Hollywood actors and a Broadway soprano headline this British 'European kingdom' production of coup and gypsies. Victor Jory as the firm wannabe dictator comes out of it best. Otto Kruger was so-so. Not sure how to take Mary Ellis' character. Didn't win me over. Not so much the story either. The big moments wasn't exactly keepers, and the rest was simply politics dumbed down too much.
