Go Down, Death!

Not as visually strong or captivating as The Blood of Jesus. The hell sequence is pretty cool, and I suspect this was an influence on Jigoku, but overall it's a weak follow-up.

Real basic production, like most all-colored cast pictures from those days. Simple story, awkward in almost every way. But with such simple means, I loved what Spencer Williams did with the ending, using primitive effects from the early days of cinema, even stealing some footage from the infamous L'Inferno (1911), to create it's hell, I ended up admiring the effort.
