Goal II: Living the Dream

Competently made, and it retains the lovable charm of the first film. In addition it's lined up an impressive amount of pro footballers to appear in the film, which I myself found to be a bit of a distraction but I suppose football fans might enjoy. Anna Friel is great also. Still it's a much bigger cliche than the first film, and much more unnecessary. The end pretty much gives no conclusion or satisfaction. What is it even trying to do? At least the first film almost had a point. Overall, meh.

Looks nice visually and the football scenes are ok. I'd still much rather watch normal football when the plot and acting are this bad.

If only I'd gotten to see the first film beforehand, maybe this would've been better! But seriously, just cliche garbage.

Even though I am a sucker for the prequel, I can do nothing but hate this. Horrible movie.

A sequel to a mediocre sports film. No surprise it's worse and pretty much not watchable. It ages badly as certain stars that made a cameo in the film no longer play the game ... I actually wouldn't recommend this even to a football/soccer fan.

How didn't they notice Santi can't play shit and Gavis is a much better player? Also, fuck the galacticos.

the first one was real cool and entertaining but this sequel is stupid and has nothing to do with living any dream...

More of the same, rather pointless stuff. Kinda charming, though, with its unabashed love for football.
