It was a decent enough movie until it got to the romance part. I'd say the first half was better than the second.

I felt that the first half of the film was much more engaging than the second half, where I had some trouble staying interested in what was happening.

Relatively earthbound script with mixture of rom-com and sci-fi with spectacular ending joined by nonsense musical act. Slow pace and plenty of dialogue in the first half.
