It was a decent enough movie until it got to the romance part. I'd say the first half was better than the second.

Relatively earthbound script with mixture of rom-com and sci-fi with spectacular ending joined by nonsense musical act. Slow pace and plenty of dialogue in the first half.

I don't know why, but I love this movie so much. Maybe becuase of the ending? Which is fucking epic... One of the best sci-fi movies ever...
