Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S.

Has everything you would want to see in a Godzilla movie. Great suit, cheesy plot, and plenty of not-so-subtle nods to classic moments from the series.

I loved having more Mothra action, but by this point in the series, a Godzilla movie needs more to stand out. This one has a standard, predictable human plot and nothing new at all on the kaiju front. One just expects more at such a late point in the series. I love all the references to the first Mothra solo film, though.

This is some of the best monster fighting in the series, and a nice conclusion to what counts as a long arc of about 4 movies. Also kind of like a cool remake of Mothra vs Godzilla. Human stuff is ok. I like that they returned a human character from the '60s with the same actor.
