This... this was pretty amazing. Often switches between Absolutely Ridiculous and Kinda Rad. Time travelers appear (their craft resembles a mushroom cloud) and they're mainly Westerners out to destroy Japan's economy. They also brought a Terminator. Ghidorah's triple-Pokemon origin is revealed. A future hippie appears, riding a drago- sorry, ROBOT DRAGON. All through the end credits Godzilla snarls at us while farting underwater. As an incorrigible manchild, I'm genuinely glad I watched this.

This entry gets to the kaiju action quicker than most, which I couldn't help but appreciate. The ineptitude of the acting and the effects and the plenitude of plot holes make for some great unintentional humor. Robert Scott Field's incredibly cheesy performance as a Terminator/Data knockoff makes the film.

Completely terrible but the surreality of the American WWII navy guys' conversations ensures this is on the right side of 50.

What a fun movie. The villains are basically just white dudes from the future and it's pretty hilarious. They have a 6 billion dollar terminator data man that helps to add a ton of fun camp to this movie. On top of all that schlock they decided to hire the worst American actors I've seen in a Godzilla film. All of these things plus some genuinely awesome monster battles makes for a really fun movie.

Has EVERYTHING I love about these movies. A hilariously ludicrous plot, cheesy effects and lines that make me laugh out loud, wonderful monster suits, plenty of giant monster screen time, high quality miniature work, classic Godzilla music, and absolutely EPIC monster fights. King Ghidorah is the shit and that's even before the amazing MECHA GHIDORAH comes along. It's corny and hilarious when it needs to be, and impressively badass when it needs to be. This is basically a perfect Godzilla movie.

My fave flying three headed dragon that spits out lasers makes a welcome return to the screens in this fun trashfest. I like the way the evildoers are all white in this too. The robot reminds me of the guy from Law and order SVU. THAT I find scary Toe Knee :-) Toe knee :-)

This was a time traveling, rather batshit throwback to the older Godzilla films and just like those it's too campy to work well. The android special effects are absolutely terrible, but King Ghidora looks regal as fuck in this one and that has to count for something.

One more slow-starting, convoluted, soulless attempt at injecting life into two beaten-up monsters.

Features confusing politics, confusing time travel, and a general air of confusion. But boy, it sure isn't boring. There are so many odd and ridiculous things going on in every scene. And it keeps upping the ante in a way that's ultimately pretty engaging, even if the editing sometimes makes it hard to follow along. Plus, it manages a couple of genuinely affecting moments, and some intentionally funny gags. Fun!

The Americans are horrific actors. The time travel plot is poorly told and ridiculous and I love it. Not much action compared with showa films though.

A huge letdown after Biollante. I guess it's silly and fun and riffable and whatever, but 90s Godzilla didn't need to be those things.

A throwback to the original 'Gojira' in terms of having an actual discernable plot. No, not a very good one.

The story is ridiculously convoluted, but overall it's worth a watch to see Godzilla take on his arch-nemesis.

Lots of terribly bad lines; "Take that you Dinosaur!" and "Timewarp Set Go!" among the more memorable.

it doesn't understand how time travel works, but it doesn't matter. it's one of the most notoriously cheesy, awful plots of all the godzilla movies...except that its monster action is some of the best and most destructive and there's lots of it.

You get moments of King Ghidorah's epic destruction of everything in it's path...and then you get the harp strings playing when Godzilla is introduced.

All time travel plots need a constant to keep from getting lost in endless paradoxes. Fortunately, "Godzilla will always stomp a major Japanese city" is so reliable that not even time-travelling space terrorists armed with cute pets can dislodge it. Bonus points for an actually pretty moving death scene near the end, and the worst acting by non-Japanese actors in the franchise's history.

The inclusion of a unique time-travel plot and a fascinating origin for the titular monsters. Godzilla Vs. King Ghidorah is a challenging and exciting entry in the franchise.

The plot to destroy Japan’s economy from the future is ludicrous. Destroying Godzilla and replace him with the regal looking King Ghidorah would have worked, if it wasn’t for the fact that Godzilla always comes back. 4 times to be precise. King Ghidora has some resurrection action too, which is nice. I can see where MF DOOM drew inspiration from for his best ever album.
