Gold

While "Gold" may brandish some dystopian elements and a mild sci-fi flavor, it's all superficial, at the core, this is a threadbare survival story dressed up to look like "Mad Max". While I'm a fan of both Effon and "Mad Max" this movie is too simplistic for it's lofty premise and fails to live up to its potential.

Yani şimdi ne diyeceğimi bilemiyorum. Kıyamet sonrasında geçen aptal 1 apokaliptik film. Trenden inen adamımız, kuzeye doğru gitmek için araç kiralamıştır. Uberimiz, Zac Efron'u kazıklamaya çalışmaktadır. Kahkahayı attıktan sonra, Zac Efron arabayı bozuyor. İşemeye giderken altını buluyor. Ya çok komik. Senaristi anladım. Yolda giderken altın 1 kolye buluyor. Sahibini mi bulayım? Yoksa cebe mi indireyim? Filmin sonunda, köpeklere mama. Gitmek mi zor? Kalmak mı? Oturayım ben.

While the premise of “Gold” had potential, the execution falls flat with a slow pace, weak storytelling, and unremarkable performances. While the makeup design is impressive, it’s not enough to save the film from being a grueling and forgettable experience.
