Summaries Goliat is set in a small industrial town somewhere in Sweden. When Roland is sentenced to prison, his son, 17-year old Kimmie, is expected to provide for the family by taking over his dad's criminal business. This is a task he's not ready for. Low-key and atmospheric. On surface, it's a simple tale and while it didn't really provide any big surprises, I really enjoyed how it was constructed and how it didn't require more than 90 mins to tell that story. Also, as a Finn, it was interesting to see this side of Sweden portrayed on film, and especially the Finns who immigrated to Sweden to pursue better living, and then remained there after the jobs moved to bigger cities or other countries.
