Goodbye World

the "apocalyptic background" (at best) adds nothing to the movies main focal point, which is plain human drama. any apocalypse-related problems are easily dealt with, so the love triangle, quadrangle, whateverangle may continue. i had hoped for a view on social distortion and devolution, and while they do shine through now and again, this is more like "beverly hills 90210: doomsday edition".

Certainly not the worst movie I've ever seen, but it reeked of Libertarian propaganda too much to be enjoyed.

Ehhh...kinda liked Adrian Grenier in this...yup.

complex human relationships in a postapocalyptic setting; good premise but cannot deliver enough

I'm not really sure what was supposed to be the climax of this movie. I was multitasking while watching it and it felt a lot shorter than it was, simply because it all felt like it was still setting things up. This movie is about human relationships, so if you're looking for a movie about the apocalypse, skip it. Maybe even skip it otherwise.. The relationships were pretty boring, too.
