I'm a fan of the original. It really gave me the vibes of Slap Shot. After seeing this sequel it made me wonder, was it really necessary? Don't get me wrong, it's not a terrible film. It just feels like there's something missing. The plot is a bit shaky and the humor is inconsistent. The finale is a bit sudden too. The film comes along at a time when fighting in hockey is being viewed differently. I can only recommend this film to hardcore fans of the original. 3 STARS
