Gossip

irony (noun) - the expression of one's meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect. example: A movie called Gossip that no one talks about.

This is an interesting and exciting picture creating a shifting version of truth, and asks important questions about "truth." Then it demolishes interest & authority by turning into a stupid unbelievable twisty ending.

Top badass moment? After watching this I've realised it's not healthy to tittle-tattle, so I'm afraid I can't say. However, what I will say is this movie has one of those twists at the end that can only come out of the mind of a writer who's painted his characters into such a small corner, that nothing rational can save them. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.

At least it tries something a little different than other teen thrillers / scream clones of it's era, but it doesn't succeed. It looks like a tv film and feels very outdated. It's also not very believable and the you will see the twist ending coming a mile away. It would be interesting to see this concept done today - in the age of social media and "fake news".

From the beginning of this film I couldn't stop thinking about how much it reminded me of the somewhat intriguing but far too artificial The Shape of Things, and sure enough, right at the end the filmmakers throw the final twist of the whole "social experiment" angle at you, and you're left amazed by how fake and insincere it all feels. It's badly acted and badly written. It sucks. I hate it.

I can't think of anything redeeming about this movie.

I have a feeling this didn't turn out to be as smart of a movie as the creators had wanted it to be, but its still a fun watch.

Better than I was expecting. It's actually a decent look at the consequences of spreading gossip. Well, up until the last ten minutes. While the idea behind the ending is sound, it just doesn't work in execution.

She said, he said, she said... good concept which becomes quite vanilla here. A good cast is pretty much wasted, can't really remember if it's the script or direction that is the problem.

The premise of the movie and the title of it, were intriguing. I enjoyed to watch this movie. First of all, its a psychological drama and at my mind very well executed. At that time when i watched this movie, i was a student and many school group project to be finished. Atmosphere was familiar and it was easy to sink in...
