Grace: The Possession

Not badly done, a bit like CARRIE, but with the repressive religious insanity being semi-vindicated. An aspect of most Satanic-ish horror. Given the degree to which US everyday life for many includes not merely compulsory Christianity but normalised magical thinking along these lines, this stream of horror does threaten to merge with fundamentalist niche-marketing/propaganda, though not particularly strongly in this case. Not like End Times/rapture film-making. Or the US military.

Watched only for the gimmick of POV horror, this is not in the league of the Maniac remake which used that gimmick for all its creepy worth. This is pretty tame and wouldn't be worth bothering with if not for the POV
