Grant Morrison: Talking with Gods

An interesting look at a very unique personality operating in the medium of comics. I think it does a lot to affirm my opinion on Morrison; he's got a mind capable of imagining endearingly creative planes of existence that gets lost in translating it to paper from time to time. The film itself leaves a little to be desired in terms of production quality, and the structure in general is a little too scattered. Eh, I could have taken or left the experience on the whole.

Much is said about how Morrison cultivated an image but it seems like a lot of that is simply the result of dressing like a mod dandy as opposed to going for the bum-inspired appearance preferred by most writers. He also tends to repeatedly frame coincidence as magic happening in real life, but at the same time you get the impression he might believe this nonsense. Either way, however one feels about him or his work, his adult life choices are genuinely compelling & inspiring

A nice look into Morrison's career, creative process, and thoughts on life and spirituality. Well put-together, but stylistically was way too odd, as if it was trying to copy Morrison's style but on film and failing.

Interesting look at his career and how he seems to be mellowing. Not much new information though.
