Gray Matters

I really want to take the high road here, but I guess I need to be honest. First off to get it out of the way this is garbage, and I would love to discuss this with anyone who disagrees with me. Now to the more important part. I am watching with my date and thinking... Heather Graham and Bridget Moynahan possibly in love with each other, but you give it a PG-13 rating? Really? Who was the genius behind that? Do you understand the money this film might have made with a few minor changes.

Absolutely zero creativity on display here, it relies entirely on plot and character, both of which are less than compelling. It does work sometimes (Graham is better than you would think, and it can be charming and cute when it's not being uncomfortably awkward), but Moynahan's chemistry with anybody, male or female, appears to be nonexistent, and all the character arcs are glib and unconvincing. In the pantheon of lesbian cinema, it's above average. But that isn't saying a whole lot.

Stupidity, chocholate-box art. 20 points for some good jokes.

Not bad, just kinda meh. It's just more proof that I will watch anything with Tom Cavanaugh (see: Alchemy...)

So boring I couldn't get through it.
