Gringo: The Dangerous Life of John McAfee

Gringo: The Dangerous Life of John McAfee was a compelling story about McAfee's journey from antivirus software maker to eccentric millionaire to full-blown mental case. This documentary does a great job of collecting information about the life McAfee led while living in Belize. A life that included drugs, bad business, extortion, coup, sex, scar, and too much insanity to continue to list. I hope that the death of McAfee's neighbor is put to bed and that the poor father gets some closure.

Eccentric people are great. Scat sex not so much.

Fascinating subject matter, but the documentary does little to exceed what's par for the course.

I don't know what to make of this. It feels like a well-orchestrated propaganda piece with a clear agenda to smear McAfee. Not saying it is, but none of it feels genuine or credible.
